About Us
At Legacy Lure Works, we believe a custom glide bait should be more than a beautiful paint job, it should be a lure you can fish with complete confidence.
Our mission is to build premium handcrafted swimbaits that combine thoughtful design, dependable construction, and proven performance. Every bait is engineered to deliver the consistent action, durability, and reliability that serious anglers expect, whether they're chasing trophy bass in freshwater or powerful saltwater predators.
Quality drives every decision we make. From carefully selected materials and heavy-duty hardware to balanced weighting and meticulous tuning, every component serves a purpose. The result is a glide bait that's built to cast confidently, track naturally, and perform season after season.
Rather than chasing production numbers, we focus on craftsmanship. Every lure is handcrafted in small batches, individually inspected, and tuned before it leaves the shop, ensuring the same attention to detail goes into every bait we build.
At Legacy Lure Works, we're committed to creating more than custom fishing lures, we're building tools that help anglers make lasting memories on the water.
Thank you for supporting a small American workshop. We hope every bait you fish becomes part of your own fishing legacy.
Meet the Craftsman
Hi, I'm the craftsman behind Legacy Lure Works.
I've always enjoyed working with my hands and creating things that are built to last. Building custom glide baits gives me the opportunity to combine that craftsmanship with my passion for fishing, turning raw materials into something that will hopefully become part of someone else's story on the water.
I'm involved in every step of the process—from pouring resin and preparing components to painting, assembly, tuning, and final inspection. Every lure passes through my hands before it ever reaches yours.
What I enjoy most is refining the little details that often go unnoticed. The fit of the hardware, the balance of the bait, the finish, the paint, and the final swim test all matter because together they determine how the lure performs. To me, craftsmanship isn't about doing something quickly—it's about doing it carefully and doing it right.
When you purchase a Legacy Lure Works bait, you're not buying something pulled from a warehouse shelf. You're buying something that was designed, built, and inspected by the same person from start to finish.
Thank you for supporting my work. It means a great deal to know that something I've built will be tied onto someone else's line, fished with confidence, and hopefully become part of memories that last a lifetime.
See you on the water,
— Stephen
